Coffee in Hand, Chaos on Deck

Coffee in Hand, Chaos on Deck:

Just Another Sunday Hustle

Today’s agenda? Oh, just your typical “try to do a week’s worth of life in one day” situation:

Grocery haul (because somehow, everyone in this house wants three meals a day like it’s a basic human need or something)

Prepping lunches for the week so I’m not staring blankly into the fridge at 7 a.m. tomorrow

Carnival time with my husband, my oldest son, his wife, their two-month-old daughter, and of course, Jimmy — who may love every minute… or absolutely none of it. We roll the dice.

Getting the car cleaned out (because it’s basically a mobile snack graveyard right now)

Dropping said car off at the dealership, for her check-up. just in case I get called in to work tomorrow.

Okay, okay, yes “she” has a name, all my little life helpers do. Her name is Roxi, and I love her!

And let’s not forget: practicing how to not look like I’m being held hostage while talking to a camera. Yes, friends — video content is coming, whether I’m ready or not.

Oh, and as a fun little backdrop to all of this? The house I live in — yes, live in — is for sale. Which means random people will be walking through at through this morning. Nothing like staging your life like an open house when it’s not even your open house. I’m not selling it, I’m just along for the ride… with a laundry basket in one hand and a prayer in the other.

Some days feel like a slow-moving circus where I’m juggling flaming batons while tap dancing on a moving car. But somehow, I’m getting more and more okay with it.

Because here’s the thing: I’ve decided to go there. To stop waiting until everything’s polished and perfect and Pinterest-ready. To show up — messy, real, brave — and maybe even hit “record” with a little less fear and a little more “let’s do this.”

So cheers to the chaos. To the never-ending to-do list. To moms in minivans with camera anxiety and dreams too big to ignore.

Coffee’s hot. Chaos awaits. Let’s get on with it.
